Meet Amy

I am a native Chicagoan who spent over 40 years in the 606 until my husband, and I decided to move to his native New England. In 2021, we bought our dream house on 15 acres in rural Vermont, and it is an adjustment. This blog is where I plan to document my attempts and failures in my transition to rural life.
And since I miss my friends, family, book club, and traveling, I will be dumping my thoughts and feelings about those things, too.
